spam in forgotten password
« on: June 27, 2012, 10:11:15 PM »
I normally stay logged in to cpyoa so I haven't had to think of my password in months. When I tried to log in on my work computer and forgot my password I went through the forgotten password routine where it sends an email link to change it. Well, the link attempts to take me to glamourous-models-girls dot net. While I was intrigued, that wasn't what I was looking for.  I went back to the site and had it re send the link, same thing again. Fortunately google chrome detected malware and warned not to open the site.
After all that I did finally remember my password.

Same here.  I tried to respond to a personal message via my Droid and it took me to the same site. All seems ok now.

hmmmm.....I am still getting sent to the glamouse model sight.  If I 'search' in google and then click on the cached sight, THEN I can get to the current pages.  Any ideas??

Quite annoying....

Exact same here.... iPhone good. Work computer no go. Home computer no go until I used "on private" web browsing ( setting in IE options). Seems to be working on home computer now. Will try at work tomorrow. Not really sure what this setting does and why it helps.

You guys with your smart phones...not for the skipster, he's too dumb for a smart phone. And proud of it.
My hp laptop warns of Malware from time to time and I sic the computer on it and it goes dormant or away.
When I go to Tools-Internet options-Delete it goes away. but I do have to re-up and log back in.
Really no problem though.

skip.
