I tried.
Can't make heads or tails out of any of this.

I'll have to redouble my efforts to make this work.

DUMB question from a confirmed 'techno phoebe'

Kurt  (Capt K) set this site up as well as sailfar, net

on Sailfar...you simply click "attachments"...it goes to your own pictures...you click what picture....DONE!!

Why is this SO different??

I honestly don't 'get it'

Life need not be complicated!!!!!     :-)

We used to be able to upload here as well.  We got hacked, and caused a lot of problems on Kurt's servers.  Our site was down for months in 2009 . Some of our members never came back.  Frankly back then it was just as complicated. you had to resize your pic,  upload it to your album, then post it.

Kurt has obviously decided to take the risk over on Sailfar and has found a way to  make it easy to do it there.
Btw, you can post your uploaded pictures there on this site by clicking on your picture there and pasting it here.

Kurt hosts this site for free. He hasn't decided to make that feature available here.

What I like is, we aren't deluged with ads, we control this site pretty democratically and it's free.

Sorry for the inconvenience, but that's just the way it is.

If you need assistance with the process, send me a pm & I'll gladly help you master what really is only one step more than over at Sailfar

Hi Tim,

When I click on the link to go to photo bucket it takes me to the photo buckets sign in screen.  Do I have to create my own PB account?

Thanks

You can, or you can log onto the CPYOA Photobucket account using compac19 as a password

I have my own PB account and have it set to stay logged in all the time.  When I go to the PB upload page for the forum, and go to library, it takes me to my library.  Do I have to log out of my own account in order to log into the Compac site or am I missing something?

Open your pb account in another tab, and just switch back and forth.
