Map of Members?
« on: August 30, 2015, 11:27:20 PM »
I looked around for a map to "pin" our locations.
Might be a cool tool to discover nearby CP sailors.
Remember: One (pin) prick per member!

Thanks!

That's a good idea, except that it comes from the person who didn't include a location with his profile ;)

I'll second it (after having just added a location to my profile).

So we refer to where we are as the center of the known universe. This otta make it easy to "prick" our location! It's the center. :)

Hey Bob, think it was a verb and not an adjective. Getting a little sensitive in your now even older years aren't we!?

So, I believe the origin of this thread was about a member map which I do agree would be a great idea.  Since many of our boats are trailerable it would be nice to have a quick reference to go to when traveling to a new area.  I get an updated directory (printed) every year from the Catboat Association which has been helpful.  Not advocating a printed directory, just something on-line
