I had to jump in on this subject.  Bought a Picnic Cat three weeks ago and the help from the factory as saved us.  The boat was  on it's original trailer, the previous owner of years never registered the trailer for a plate.  I was emailed the original certificate for the trailer for our boat.  Took it to the Secretary of Snails office and was able to get the plate with no problems.  This is our first Picnic Cat, familiar with similar 14' sailboat, so as we are cleaning her up and realize new hardware is needed in spots, Parts Department has been very patient with me and gets parts out quickly.
