Hmm... I have numerous translations of the Scriptures but none of them read like that. Must be a Virginny thing!

Yeah it is a Southern thing. It is a fact that many places in The Commonwealth of Virginia actually were opposed to the repeal of prohibition mostly cuz they had a good thing going and didn't want VABC as competition. There are many 'still" in operation, and having sampled many, can honestly say most have it down pat!

Our little brewery, run by our son, is due to move soon as we are out of production room. Trust me the interior designer that was responsible for the "look" in the pic will be back at it for it's next incarnation! As the rest of the scripture says ......."he restoreth my soul." So you could come lie in our green pastures, hang with our distilled water but you're on your own with how restored you may feel.  :)

Meanwhile the Sock Burning party may have just been preempted as some fine folks that we have played with as well and love their genre and music are coming to the Jeff for a special St. Paddies Day show. We will certainly be in attendance. It is a great venue, great music, great reason to celebrate....heck you could stay right on the downtown mall in Charlottesville and walk to Breweries, listen to great Music, sample local Wine and Gather with friends at some incredible restaurants.

Jus sayin......

Rational for price looks spot on.

Thanks guys. I’ll check the listings. I got a really good deal on it and won’t be losing much at that price. However, if I use the broker at the marina the fee is $2000. I just don’t want to list it at a lofty price and have to store it for another winter.

My wife kind of tossed it out there to a friend for that price and I certainly don’t want to overcharge a friend. It’s in pretty good condition and has only one need of repair that I’m aware of and that is a leak in the freshwater supply that I discovered on our last time out last season.

My logic is that if I sign with a broker and want $5000, then he needs to get at least $7000, and of course there has to be room for negotiation. All this would probably put the list price at around $12,000.

Did you mean $15, and not $5? Seems really low to me but if I lived in Green Bay it would be perfect! Take a look on sailboatlisting and yachtworld.

I have a CP-27 in Green Bay, WI and am considering selling due to lack of time for using it.

I’m not quite ready to sell it yet. I just want to see what others think. If I decide to sell it on my own, is $5000 firm and includes a paid up slip for 2018 at South Bay Marina a good price?

Thanks,
Dennis
