My bad Salty- I moved it to General Announcements after I read that Kurt wanted to keep that area of just Help requests. Anyway it is there and I have tried it out- works like a charm!

I just dragged HideAways metal blade over a crunchy sandbar last weekend - It pains me to think of how bad I would have messed up your work of art Bob!   Think I ll make mine out of glass or maybe steel !  Matt

Everything is repairable. I've used mine for a depth sounder alot this summer..no damage yet. I'm sure I'll have to do some maintenance. I set a layer of glass on the bottom 6" of the blade. Otherwise it just has many coats of epoxy. I never got around to varishing it, prefering to sail!
